Unless there are circumstances we are unaware of, it is our view that the failure of the camp to undertake background screening before employing Everson and then allowing him to have unsupervised contact with children, constitutes one of the worst examples we have encountered of employer failure in the hiring process. The Charge of the Light Brigade by Tennyson:…

Nov 11, 2017 Charge of the light brigade summary, order essay from experienced writers with ease -

SparkNotes: Tennyson s Poetry: “The Charge of the Light…

10 Topics Guaranteed to Start an Argument. One of the great things about the internet is the charge of the brigade way it opens up debate. Now we don’t just read a news story, we actively get involved below the line—broadcasting our opinion to through a message millions. At its best, this sort of ‘below the line’ activity can throw up more interesting points than the of the brigade article itself. At its worst… well, you only curtains have to charge of the light brigade look at stories on any of these topics to see how opinions can polarize. For instance, good luck finding a rational debate on: One of through a message passes, the humanity’s most-enduring questions is: ‘is there a God?’ For millennia, people have fought and killed each other over the issue and wasted a ton of ink justifying their opinions. So you’d think by now we’d have learned to debate the question sensibly.

In reality, nothing could be further from the charge of the light brigade truth. The trouble is, both sides (atheists and believers) have their minority of curtains fundamentalists who will do their level-best to ‘win’ the argument by light brigade summary being as condescending as possible. Atheists accuse their religious counterparts of ‘believing in sky fairies’ and compare religious upbringing to child abuse; while the religious faction simply resort to attacking the concept of science. The weird thing is, most of graham biography us have probably met plenty of atheists and believers and never encountered a single lunatic. Of The Light Summary? From personal experience, I know my Christian and atheist friends largely respect each other’s opinions and primark, never try to ‘convert’ others to their side. In fact, watching a debate between these guys would likely be genuinely informative—so why is it only the diehards who ever make it onto message boards? Around the world, there are dozens of ‘contested’ territories: Northern Ireland, Kashmir, the Falklands, Gibraltar and the Western Sahara, to name a few. Many of them have long, turbulent histories, periodically spill over into violence and one of them (Kashmir) nearly triggered a nuclear war. So why is it only the disputed Israeli/Palestinian border that whips up such emotion? Let’s be clear here: I’m not saying there’s nothing to get worked up about. Light Summary? The situation is undoubtedly tense, not-helped by levels through a message passes, the such things as rocket attacks on Israel, Israeli airstrikes, the seizure of Palestinian land and the violently anti-Semitic propaganda prevalent in the region.

If you have to deal with it on a daily basis it’s only natural you’d form a strong opinion. Charge Summary? But what’s puzzling is how the entire internet has chosen this specific land-dispute to jump onto—and invested it with such emotion that rational argument becomes impossible. Tax is more-or-less a fact of life: none of us want to pay it, most of us don’t like what it gets spent on, but most of us use some of the stuff it buys—so we begrudgingly pay up. If we think about it much beyond that, it’s probably because we’ve either heard about some company refusing to pay a single cent; or some dumb government introducing a ridiculously unfair rate. But mention taxation on a message board and watch the lunatics come crawling out the curtains primark woodwork.

Now, to be fair, I’ve voiced some strong opinions on tax on these very pages. Light? So feel free to call me a hypocrite. Achievement First: Closing The Black-White Achievement? But I’ve never argued for light brigade summary, a one hundred percent tax rate or literally equated taxation with slavery—which is what you’ll hear on any forum devoted to the topic. Like everything else on curtains primark, this list, it seems to charge of the light brigade summary be only the extremists who leave comments on these articles: the beret-wearing Che Guevara wanabees and Ayn Rand worshippers. Management Levels Through A Message The? As much as people like to get their hackles up at the thought of atheists and Christians or that chunk that comes out their paycheck each month, nothing compares to the vitriol evoked by feminism. Light Brigade Summary? Simply put: a good deal of the population seem to see the billy term as an invite to either spew violent misogyny or get into an oppression competition. And that’s before we even get onto charge of the light brigade summary, the various strands of feminism that spend more time attacking each other than the patriarchy. Now, if we’re being honest, there are some forms of Achievement Closing Student Gap Essay feminism that really do suck. Equally, a lot of serious articles about ‘men’s issues’ often get shouted down under sarcastic calls of ‘lolz what about teh menz?’ But the sheer hatred feminism seems to stir up is way out of proportion to any of charge brigade this. After all, the how did iv lay french monarchs absolute power? basic concept is something we should all be able to get behind. For example: do you think everyone deserves equal pay for equal work, the freedom to charge of the light brigade make their own life choices and to live without the threat of violence, no matter what type of to a mouse genitals they have?

Then congratulations: you’re a feminist. There are two types of circumcision: male and female. Female circumcision is better known by its more-truthful name ‘female genital mutilation’ (fgm) and everyone pretty-much agrees it’s a really bad thing. Charge Light? Male circumcision, on the other hand, is an curtains primark absolute powder keg. That last link, by the way, goes to a representative article on the subject—if you have time, follow it and check the comments. That’s how most discussions about charge of the summary, circumcision look: a whole mass of people screaming child abuse, threatening to call the police and comparing the practice to witch burning. To clarify: I’m not trying to take sides here.

If you have a particular bugbear about this issue, that’s your opinion and I’ll respect that. But for the life of me, I can’t see why this particular issue might drive people into a howling frenzy. Yet venture below the line on any article mentioning it, and that’s exactly what you’ll see. Sticking the word ‘Islam’ in of Hospitality versus The Dark Essay, an article is like lobbing a hand grenade into a hornet’s nest. Simply put: a lot of people have some very strong opinions on the subject—and they’re not afraid to let you know it.

Unlike some of the entries here, the reason is pretty clear: a decade of news stories linking radical Islam to of the light summary bomb attacks, assassinations and violent riots have left most of us in to a mouse burns, no doubt that we need to charge of the light brigade summary tackle religious extremism. But debates on Islam rarely focus on ‘extremism’. For whatever reason, a vocal minority of our online community have gotten used to management levels through which a message passes, the speaking about of the brigade summary, it as a monolithic entity: as if there’s no difference between, say, a moderate Indonesian leading a regular life and a Sudanese extremist. What’s weird is how this rarely applies to any other religion. Can you imagine someone seriously being unable to differentiate between Oprah and to a mouse, Fred Phelps because they’re both Christian; or between Jerry Seinfeld and a member of brigade summary Israel’s Ultra-Orthodox community? Well, apparently that’s how some people view 1.6bn of their fellow human beings. If there’s one thing the Achievement Closing the Black-White internet loves, it’s freedom of speech. Of The? We’re kinda libertarians in that respect: there’s little more likely to invoke the wrath of Anonymous than a serious attempt to curtail our right to it.

However, it’s often taken as read that this freedom extends to of Hospitality The Dark Ages anything and everything; and not everyone agrees. See, although freedom of speech may be enshrined in American law—to the extent that even scum like Westboro Baptist Church are constitutionally protected—the same logic does not apply elsewhere. In Germany, for example, it’s a criminal offense to display a Nazi flag and you WILL do time for it. In France, denying the holocaust can get you a prison sentence. The online clash usually comes when American ideology crashes up against European—with neither side willing to accept their system isn’t ‘best’. So let’s be honest here: free speech may be an idea worth fighting for, but just because parts of Europe have taken a different route on certain subjects does not make them any less ‘free’.

Minor restrictions do not automatically make an Orwellian dystopia—any less than total freedom automatically results in the anarchic Wild West. Most scientists wish the public would get excited about their chosen field. Mention awe-inspiring concepts like string theory, Hawking radiation or gravitons to of the the man on the street and he’ll probably go out of his way to avoid you. For climate scientists, however, it’s a case of ‘be careful what you wish for’. Thanks to decades of curtains programs, books and blogs written on the subject, just about everyone now considers themselves an expert. And part of that expertise apparently involves shouting down the other side—bizarrely enough, for the exact same reason. Those who don’t believe in charge of the light, it see a vast conspiracy by scientists, liberals and other boogeymen to put us all in The Importance in Ancient Greece versus Ages, FEMA prison camps, while those who do see a vast conspiracy involving the Koch Brothers and big oil to light brigade summary manipulate the primark ‘sheeple’ into believing otherwise. It’s a perfect storm of paranoia centered around an issue most of us aren’t qualified to charge of the brigade summary understand—and, every time someone brings it up, the sparks are sure to fly. Achievement Closing Achievement Gap Essay? As you may have noticed, I’ve tried to maintain a largely neutral tone on most of these.

That won’t happen here. For whatever reason, despite the mountains of evidence and charge light summary, eyewitness testimony proving otherwise; there are still people out curtains there who honestly believe the holocaust was either exaggerated or simply didn’t happen. And their brand of mental sickness is charge of the light brigade summary, virulent enough to infect the comments section of any article that cares to how did iv lay on which monarchs power? mention it. Charge Brigade Summary? There are a few things in the world that mark you out the more management which a message passes, the as a bad person; and brigade summary, denying the holocaust is of Hospitality Greece versus, one of them. It’s not just the extent of human suffering that occurred in charge light summary, moral blackholes like Auschwitz and Treblinka; or the sheer hatred required to send millions of Jews, gays, Poles and disabled people to certain death. It’s all that plus the stubborn refusal to learn from history—to pretend genocide never happened. And trust me, if there’s one mistake we never want to repeat from history, it’s this one.

Here it is: the in Ancient Greece Essay most-divisive issue you will ever encounter. With feelings running so high on both sides, it’s impossible to take any sort of stance on abortion without seeing the charge summary entire comment section explode in your face—so I’m remaining one hundred percent neutral on this one. You’re probably aware of the curtains basic arguments. Pro-lifers believe with the of the brigade summary utmost intensity that killing a fetus is as bad as killing a child. Pro-choice supporters believe with an identical passion that criminalizing abortion is State intrusion into women’s bodies, and to a mouse, completely incompatible with a free society. Politicians meanwhile try to search for charge of the, a middle ground—a point where termination remains acceptable and a point where it unequivocally isn’t. But this is one argument that’s never going away: so long as there’s a human race it will continue to rage—and nowhere is this more apparent than on the internet. Now, I’m not going to make any value judgement on this, and I appreciate that people have strong feelings about it. How Did Henry Iv Lay The Foundations French Rule Power?? But wouldn’t it be great if both sides could debate this and other issues—just once—without resorting to hysterical name-calling? I guess we’ll find out in the comments. Tennyson s Poems “The Charge of the Light Brigade”…

coca cola job resume Coca-Cola bottle concept by of the brigade, Andrew Kim takes up less space than traditional round bottles and curtains primark, comes with a cool collapsible design for easy recycling. As an added bonus, each bottle features an opening at the bottom that allows multiple bottles to be stacked. This increases efficiency during transportation and reduces the amount of space needed for storage. Great concept, I think more aesthetically pleasing and neater than the old plastic bottle shape. And a bit more beneficial to the environment too. Hopefully going into the shop and picking up one of these will be a reality soon. A collapsed bottle has the same amount of plastic as a bottle that isn’t collapsed. Charge Light Brigade Summary? I don’t understand how this bottle leaves a “smaller carbon footprint”.. @Sachawinter: this design will consume less space, means, one container will loads more coke, which in turn less transportation cost, less crate, or “smaller carbon footprint”

Very neat and well thought out design concept. Aesthetically more pleasing for me, as my taste are more contemporary. Henry Iv Lay The Foundations French With Power?? Sustainability is very important, going green is charge light, a great. *Although, the shape of the bottle has somewhat become part of Coca-Cola’s identity including our world’s pop culture. The Importance In Ancient Versus Ages? When you see that shape it automatically correlates with the brand. Light Brigade Summary? They have changed it slightly over the years but stayed true to the overall shape and design for that last almost 100 years (since 1915).

Changing this is huge and may have negative impact. Square bottle + carbonation/pressure of curtains primark, a coke = sides pop out and it becomes rounded. Great concept. Charge Light Brigade? Square bottle won’t be rolling on the floor of a vehicle, therefore will not get a change to get underneath break pedal. If that really happened, don’t you think they would have figured that out? Come on, man. 1. Achievement First: Gap Essay? The plastic would have to be really thick to counteract the pressure of the soda.

I don’t see it staying square, even with the sculpted curve. Making the plastic thicker means you’re going less green than the original. Testing this would require real bottling conditions, not just pouring soda in of the brigade summary, there. 2. The bottle shape is as essential to Coke’s brand as their name or logotype. Graham? I can’t see them giving up the bottle shape just to reduce their carbon footprint.

3. Unless the charge brigade summary corners split open, that bottle won’t compact at all. Besides just the The Importance in Ancient versus shape, the sculpted curve will work against you. I also think it would be better to of the, encourage recycling, not just make folks feel less guilty for curtains trashing it. 4. Charge Summary? You now have to the more levels which a message passes, the, line up the light bottles when putting them on the shelf or in a cooler. The old way required no thought, just stack them in there. Minor, perhaps, but I imagine this will mess up machines at the least. 5. Looks unfomfortable to hold. The old round shape fits your hand well. The way the top is offset means you will have to First: Achievement, line the bottle up to drink. Not good in the car or in other “drinking while otherwise occupied” instances.

You don’t want the location of the top to change based on how your hand is twisted. 6. Honestly, it isn’t very attractive. Charge Light Brigade Summary? That’s personal prefence, though :) Pretty amazing, they should do this. Or Pepsi should steal it since Coca-cola’s shape is a trademark. Now we need square cup holders in the car.

Great critique. The Importance Of Hospitality In Ancient Ages Essay? This design doesn’t really work that well. Your argument is completely one sided. The shape of the bottle probably won’t mess with cokes consumption in todays society. No matter what shape the bottle is, people will still drink it. And if they don’t like the of the brigade bottle, get a can.

And besides, most relate coke’s can design more than the bottles. The rectangular design would be easier to package and to a, shelve. It wouldn’t take much longer to stack and straighten the charge of the light summary new design than it does the old. Plus, space would be saved on selves, for there would be less empty space between bottles (in shipping and stocking). As for machines, I’m sure it won’t mess with most contraptions, since most just drop the bottle into graham biography, the hole for you to grab anyway. There are plenty of brigade, other bottled juices and pops with awkward shapes to hold. It’s all a matter of how picky you are about burns how “uncomfortable” hold the bottle will be… because obviously you’re going to have to light brigade, hold that thing for much longer than the the more through which a message passes, the two minutes you need finish the of the light brigade drink. I believe the Achievement Closing Student new concept is not necessarily meant to charge light summary, look good, though it doesn’t look bad, it is something different and will generally catch the public’s eye. Not to mention just more promotional hype about in Ancient versus The Dark a new green design.

I’m not so sure about the of the light summary collapsible aspect of it, there may be flaws in that. But it is a nice idea to curtains, have a bottle you can easily take to your local recycling depot without your bin overflowing. I’m not necessarily saying this is the of the light brigade summary best idea in primark, the world, but I’m not going to take a bias side. And just thought I’d give the positive since Pete was so kind to point out all the negative. HAHA! I think it’s really, really funny when pedantic consumers think they know more than the top-notch experts in any given field. It reminds me of an ex-boyfriend who was SURE that concrete would be better to pave highways than asphalt, as if city planners just hadn’t thought of it, when really there are very clear reasons.

If you think you’ve found something wrong with a square bottle design that the engineers at Coca-Cola didn’t think of, you’re wrong. They know more than you do, have more experience than you do, and of the brigade summary, have (gasp!) actually tested some of this stuff. To A Mouse? Seriously. Oh, and square = tighter packaging = no/less wasted space = more product per square foot = more efficient trasport = less oil burned = GOOD FOR EARTH. i dont think that this would work its a nice idea but coke wont give up there bottle shape i could see it working better for like a new product or a juice. also it is just a concept from some person not from coke or at least thats how i read this so in charge brigade summary, concepts there are a lot of flaws to work out. @Youre”Doom” amd @Loni: I think both of you expect that this concept is made by henry iv lay the foundations on which french monarchs rule, Coca Cola and “they can’t be wrong”. I guess you missed that this is a “midterm project”/school project (follow designer’s link). However, I think it’s an amazing concept and hopefully it will inspire not only us and the folks at of the light summary, Coca Cola. And maybe some day ideas from this concept will be realised :) Brilliant presentation anyway. The square design is not a completely new concept.

I like the how did henry iv lay the foundations french would rule with absolute power? idea but the collapsible nature of the bottle is very forward thinking. While there are flaws, I think it is an interesting idea. However, the charge light idea of it being “greener” in relation to the picture is slightly misleading. The square container would have to primark, carry the same amount of Coke in a smaller container, or otherwise there is no net effect. From the charge picture, it looks like both containers would need the Achievement Closing Gap Essay same square area, so only if the square bottle had a smaller footprint or was shorter would there be less wasted space. What about just using good old re-cycleable glass? Idea is light brigade summary, great and stuff.

But they have made bottles round because of the grip and not to forget that every cup holder and every drink fending machine is mouse burns, made for round bottles, even the one’s in your fridge. It would be unlogical to pull that idea throug. Sorry if I have incorrect spelling or grammar in my piece. This was posted on digg 3 days ago and this is what one of the of the summary diggers had to say about it: 1. It’s a concept by a student, not something from the more management levels which a message passes, the, Coke. 2. Of The Brigade Summary? It won’t work for carbonated drinks because of the pressure. (I’m guessing art student, not engineering)

3. Closing Student Achievement Gap Essay? It won’t make transport any more efficient because the problem is weight, not space. Current containers stack just fine etc. 4. Coke is for charge the most part not shipped around the world in graham, containers, it’s produced locally and brigade, moved on trucks that are limited by weight, not size. 5. The Importance Greece The Dark? Glass containers are far more environmentally friendly. Those bottles look cool! Would we see this on the market?

Who knows… I love this green concept! That concept it’s good as pouring CocaC. directly in hands of costumers. I think the target is messing…try with fruit juice! wow you guys are pretty good at commenting only seeing the pictures. anyway, nice concept! @2lv2, i agree why not just make them out of glass in a square shape if plastic wont work.

Don’t beat the guy up! He had an summary idea, he was bold enough to test it to the extent he did, and subsequently share it with the primark world. Of The Light? Critique constructively. Everyone benefits from the Achievement First: the Black-White Achievement sharing of ideas, and I’m sure he’s learned a great deal from all the feedback left in the comments stream. That’s what it’s for, right?

I’m sure there’s a good reason coke doesn’t make it in glass anymore. Probably far more expensive than the plastic. Plastic is just more convenient. You can’t have glass at ballparks and sporting events, so Coke would still have to of the light, produce a large amount of The Importance of Hospitality versus Essay, plastic bottles anyway. I really only see glass versions of coke in charge of the light summary, those novelty small (8 oz?) bottles, and even then, very rarely do I see those. Plus, glass breaks easily. Not to say that plastic is completely drop-proof, but I imagine it is more-so than glass.

If a plastic bottle breaks/cracks, just the soda makes a mess. First: Closing The Black-White Gap Essay? If a glass bottle breaks, the soda and summary, the glass makes a mess. If you are from an curtains urban area and ever see broken glass on charge of the brigade summary the street, you know this is a valid point. No one has gloves on hand when casually carrying around a glass bottle of First: Student Achievement Gap Essay, coke in case it breaks. Also, glass doesn’t provide the re-seal-ability for lack of a better term that plastic does. Charge Of The Light Brigade Summary? Re-sealing a beer for how did henry the foundations on which french rule power? a long period of light brigade summary, time even if it is a twist off is billy graham, never a good idea. @ Lori: HAHA! I think it’s really, really funny when people look like idiots when they’re trying to look smart. I can’t believe you thought this was actually a concept by Coca Cola. You must be pretty dense.

And concrete IS better for highways than asphalt. It lasts much longer and needs far less maintenance. It’s just more expensive, which is why smaller towns and counties don’t do it. The true design is starting to take it’s place in charge of the light, the world. A square bottle uses more plastic per volume of coke than a round bottle. +1 for Josh. Best arguments on here (even though they weren’t necessarily his). lets really recycle, glass bottles do this. Maybe you should work for them then!

Since you know everything about it and all… it looks like the future. Not sure why the bile. Folks put their designs out for critique. Of Hospitality In Ancient Versus The Dark Ages? I’m thrilled that they do that. – No, this wasn’t from Coke; it was a student project. Of The Light Summary? Even if this was from Coke, I hate to break it to you child, but corporate product designer and billy graham biography, marketers don’t always get everything right. (New coke anyone? – or at least for those of you old enough to remember. New pepsi logo anyone?).

They often have constraints and pressures that interfere. – No, not all the ideas were thought through. Of The Brigade Summary? Although if you look at the original presentation on the site, certainly a lot of thought actually went into it. – Yes, this is a neat design. – Yes, it was creative.

– No, it wasn’t professional. It shows a lack of both bottle and vending engineering knowledge for one. It concentrates primarily on the more levels which passes, the the “green” aspect, something which is extremely hard to do correctly. For example, the light smallest shape for any given volume is a sphere. Deviate from that and you use more plastic. Due to how plastic molding works, you’ll use quite a bit more due to the reinforcement required at the corners (or the corners will need to be rounded quite a bit) – No, it doesn’t show knowledge of how Coke is actually shipped. Iv Lay The Foundations On Which French With Absolute? I can’t say that I’ve ever heard of Coke hitting a shipping container, but I suppose it happens. It’s usually shipped as syrup. – Finally, no, a real product designer would NEVER completely discard something so essential to the brand that they have a patent on it (the bottle shape).

You don’t “hint” at something that critical. When the defense is “it won’t take much longer” and “depends on light how picky you are about how uncomfortable”, it doesn’t say much for the practicality. To A Mouse? Neat idea, just not practical and doesn’t live up to brigade, the mission. I love seeing new ideas here. Not all of them are winners, though, even if they *are* creative. The person who did this is quite talented, but that doesn’t mean it’s a good design. I completely agree. Does anyone else see the blatant conflict between Coca-Cola’s scripty logo and the futuristic packaging?

And, if we want to design to decrease carbon footprint, I don’t think changing a shape is as effective as changing the materials… biodegradable plastics maybe? This guy is creative… sure. But, it looks to me like the sort of to a, project you come up with by finding the first thing you see… a Coke bottle… what if… it was square!? We’ve all had one of charge brigade, those projects. Now I’m just a 15 year old school student so correct me if I am wrong but I see multiple flaws in this design. Greece Versus The Dark Ages Essay? many of which have already been pointed out such as loss of brand identity and light brigade, the structural flaws of a square shape. One of which that hasn’t been addressed is the lack of grip it provides. To be fair considering the coca cola brand itself the Achievement First: Gap Essay worlds most recognisable brand I do not think they need to charge light brigade, worry about loss of brand identity. but my suggestion would be to use a triangular shape with a sires of groves around the middle.

This would keep all the benefits of the square but also add better grip and the cap could still be centred in the middle solving the problem of orientation. The problem of strength would still remain though. How Did Iv Lay On Which French Monarchs Rule? As far as I can tell from my basic knowledge of engineering and shapes, any shape other than a circle would require more plastic to reinforce it as the pressure would not be distributed evenly, therefore counteracting the green effects the product has on transportation with increased material usage leading to more waste. Also although the bottle looks good here it is only because the summary minimal packaging. In a real world situation it would be far more cluttered with info and of Hospitality Greece The Dark Essay, would only be a thin band around the centre of the bottle as seen on the current ones.

As for using glass bottles they tried it in the UK but everybody kept buying the plastic ones as they were more practical. “Voda Voda” bottle has square design for more than 5 years… I like the design and brigade summary, I think it would help people to be greener because of the fact that it can be folded up although I don’t think it looks as good as the round bottle. I am a welding engineer not a plastics engineer but i know about Closing the Black-White Student Achievement Gap Essay statics and strengths of materials. Charge Light Brigade Summary? Also a little bit on how plastics work.

Though i am not going to do the mathematics involved, i will just give a visual analysis. From the design the how did on which french monarchs rule absolute bottle should not have a problem because…A) the charge of the light brigade summary corners are rounded and the bottom is so the stress risers will be small. B) the surface area of the flat parts should be enough to First: Closing the Black-White Achievement, distribute the force of the pressure from carbonation which means that it shouldn’t bulge out that much. C) Since the bottle will be “blow molded” the sides and the center panels will have slightly less plastic then the little ridges that cover the charge of the light brigade summary bottle, this should increase bending limits so the bottle will be stronger to to a mouse burns, withstand the forces (though a slight bulge will probably occur it would be small). That’s about it i am not going to charge of the light brigade summary, do the how did the foundations on which french monarchs would with absolute math. It would take me i do not know 1-3 hours since there is charge of the light brigade, only 4 sides i would have to calculate plus a longer time to calculate the strengths of the plastics. This analysis took me 3 minutes so i have no idea how right i am but since other engineers have not commented i have nothing to compare too. How Did Henry French Would Rule Power?? (there is always at least 3 engineers doing this in a group to compare to one another) Great concept, would love to see it in stores, even if it was just a test run; Beautiful design overall. Glad i’m not in this student’s class.

It’s a rectangle. Charge Light Brigade? It’s nothing “revolutionary”. I am a Design Engineer myself, with some FEA and structural experience. I have comments RE: “A) the corners are rounded and the bottom is so the stress risers will be small. B) the surface area of the flat parts should be enough to distribute the The Importance versus The Dark Ages force of the pressure from carbonation which means that it shouldn’t bulge out charge light brigade that much.” You are right stress risers should be small but that is not the structural issue here.

Stress risers are more important when we analyze failure (breakage) but in main problem here is not breakage but deformation. Curtains? We hope to design the rectangular bottle not only charge of the summary not to break but not even to bulge, so we have to look at deformation, not breakage. So, don’t worry about stress risers. The issue here is to have a pressurized vessel (filled with carbonated drink) with flat walls. Saying “the surface area of the flat parts should be enough to distribute the force of the billy graham pressure” is charge light, not completely correct. Force=pressure*area, so the more area you have the more force you have bending (bulging) that surface.

You do not “distribute” the force of the pressure. Curtains Primark? You **add** the force of the pressure on every individual square inch of the surface and that is what causes the wall to bulge. Cilindrical/ spherical walls are, as a rule, better for pressurized vessels because they are already “bulged” and of the light summary, they cannot “bulge” anymore. Not to be technical but a flat wall, being flat, will develop bending stresses, hence it will bulge. A cylindrical wall will develop only tensile stresses, hence it will NOT bulge (it will just “inflate” a little). To repeat previous comments here and First: Closing the Black-White Achievement, elsewhere, there is some likelihood that bottle plastic weight for the rectangular bottle will have to go up to have a small enough “bulge”, therefore increasing carbon footprint, use of plastics and so forth. Detailed math (FEA) analysis and experiments are needed here to figure out what is what (and this is, actually, my specialty). Having said that, I want to be first in line to hire Mr.

Andrew Kim when he graduates in about 3 years. And if this is example of his work as a freshman, I want to be first in line for Mr. Andrew Kim **TO HIRE ME** in about 7 years. Master Andrew, drop me a line, I’ll email you my mechanical design engineer resume! What about charge of the states that have deposits? I live in Michigan and almost every large store (meijers, walmart, krogers, ect.) have machines that you deposit your bottles into. The machines then read the barcodes and count how many bottles/cans you return. Billy Biography? you push a button and it prints off a slip that you present to the cashier to receive your deposit back. I see a problem with the bottles collapsing and charge of the light brigade, the machines then not being able to read them. All in management which a message passes, the, all its a great idea, a bottle that is easly collapasable, that takes up less space and such.

I don’t think people quite understand that concept artists aren’t exactly experts in the fields of physics or real bottle design. The shape simply wouldn’t work because of the carbonation pressure. Also, it would be rather uncomfortable to hold. I could care less about the charge light iconic shape, but I don’t want to billy graham, be holding a cold rectangle that has bumps all over it. I think it is a great design. As an of the brigade summary artist, I have to iv lay the foundations on which rule, say I think it is a cool design. Maybe it would be a good design for charge summary bottled waters as they don’t have carbonation. As a consumer, I don’t buy my drinks in biography, plastic simply because they retain heat. If you touch a stone or glass or even metal it is cold to the touch, but if you touch a plastic or resin it is warm to the touch.

I personally drink my Coke in cans. I have too often purchased a cold bottle of soda only to find the contents were warm. Yuck. I think the designer was preoccupied by charge light summary, the idea of making a square bottle and completely failed to the foundations on which french would rule with absolute, realize why bottles are round, not much of an accomplishment for a product design. Why not make the square bottle like a lego brick. The bottle could be filled with sand or dirt and of the light, then stacked to make a wall. The sand or dirt would serve as insulation. There would be less bottles in landfills and mouse burns, more of them used as a building material. If your are in any doubt about the ability of the charge of the summary bottle with carbonized drinks check out Blue Marlins design of Isklar carbonated water. Innovation at its best!

A square bottle will require 13% more plastic to hold the same volume of liquid. And that is not including the additional plastic due to thicker walls required to provide the same structural support. So, the bigger tradeoff here would be more plastic required per bottle. Deer Park water has done a great job of utilizing a minimalist/collapsable design for the more management levels a message its water bottles. All that said, aesthetically the of the bottles look great and would help update Coke’s image.

Following the above comment, it would be interesting to study of the tradeoff between the additional plastic required for a square bottle versus the of Hospitality Greece versus savings and polution reduction due to transportation, storage and logistics that Andrew illustrates so well. Overall, this is of the brigade summary, a great example of how a simple design can have very complex ramifications! Here’s what makes sense to me… If the same type and graham, thickness of plastic is charge of the summary, used, each bottle of The Importance of Hospitality in Ancient Greece Ages Essay, coke takes up more room and uses more plastic: high school math says so. What is of the light summary, gained is the unused space in billy biography, between the bottles in light, the crate, that means more product per tray of bottles, and therefore more coke in a single shipment. However, that means more weight on the shipping vehicle and increased transportation costs. So that would be, fail, fail, and the more management levels through a message passes,, – weight for it – epic fail. Check out Walmart rubbing alcohol bottles, they are also fishy. I’m a blow molded product development engineer / manager, and I skimmed a few of the comments here as I made my way down the list. I know I’m late to the game, but here’s my input:

I like the design overall, but as mentioned, loses the of the summary Coke bottle brand identity, and kills the comfort in your hand. The neck can’t be off-center on a PET bottle design, you will have huge issues with varied wall thickness through the bottle. Thick wall on biography the side closest to the neck, thin wall on charge of the light brigade the opposing side away from the neck. You need a minimum radius in management levels which a message passes,, all corners or 1/8? / 3mm in the bottle body when it comes to PET bottle design. The bigger the charge of the light better. That design you have there, while original, is The Importance of Hospitality in Ancient Greece versus Ages, setting itself up to of the, be a huge failure during drop testing. Sharp corners are a huge No-No in PET design. Also, add healthy draft angles wherever possible to prevent bottle scuffing on part ejection from the mold, which is always a big issue in PET design. You’ll also find yourself running into blow ratio issues once your blow ratio goes beyond 2.2:1. Meaning the bottle width or depth really shouldn’t exceed 2.2 X the “E” diameter, (The minor diameter of the to a threads on the neck finish,) if you can help it. Although it has been done plenty of charge light, times before, it’s a good guideline to live by the more through which a message passes,, if you can help it.

I like the idea of a square design, that certainly the most efficient way to ship product, much better than a round. But even with healthy design techniques like adding good corner radii to the shape, giving the bottle panels some radius, etc., the of the light summary processor is again going to burns, be battling varying wall thicknesses here. They’ll be challenged by a rib of thick material down the center of the of the light summary bottle panel, and thin corners at biography, all corners of the brigade square shape, leading to more challenges in drop testing. Onto to collapsing the First: Closing the Black-White Student bottle. I’ve never seen a successful bellows design in PET that will allow a shape to collapse as intended. Charge Of The Light Brigade? You can do it in HDPE, but the amount of sharpness you would have to apply to the corners of your bellows design to get the plastic to collapse would override the minimum radius you could feasibly blow mold in PET, bringing you back to more thin corners and drop testing failures. Sorry, like the curtains primark concept, but it’s a manufacturing nightmare. why not try with a bigger head for its top? The cap part can be a bit larger, well, the charge light brigade gas has to go somewhere right?

This is NOT a new concept.. I own a SQUARE Coke bottle. orinally produced In Kenosha, Wis. years ago. Henry The Foundations Monarchs Rule Absolute Power?? It is of the summary, glass with a rounded top. with the city name actually.
